Most organisations doing important work in AI safety and adjacent fields are constrained not by ideas or funding, but by operational capacity. The next hire is six months away. The hiring pipeline that worked at five people is breaking at fifteen. The new initiative the funder wants to see needs someone to actually build it. The conference everyone wants to run will not run itself.
Proferra embeds with a small number of organisations each year to remove these bottlenecks. We diagnose what is actually preventing the next phase of growth, then either fix it directly or build the system that does.

Who we are
Proferra was founded in 2026 by Alex Csaky, a two-time founder, most recently Head of Product and Growth at Omniscan AI. Alex spent the past year embedded in the AI safety community, undertaking Technical Research, Governance Research and having dozens of conversations with founders and executive directors about what was actually slowing them down. The same constraints to scaling kept surfacing. Proferra exists to solve them.
